Physical Description(A-G) Varicolored glass sets, each cut in six rhomboidal planes sloping downward from a central flat hexagon; mounted in thin metal with circular openings for the glass, rimmed with a beaded edge and surrounded by an octagonally lobed downward-sloping medallion in repousse relief; glass sets formed by grinding, and affixed by crossed wires emanating from the backs of the metal medallions (see no. H-N, which show this); for attachment to the robes each medallion has six sets of two small holes adjacent to the beaded rim and eight sets of two tiny holes at the outer lobed edge; backed by cardboard disks; (A,D&F) opaque, or slightly translucent, dark red glass; (B) transparent darkish- blue glass; (C&G) colorless glass, over a gilt background; (E) transparent pale green glass, over a backing of same color (?). (H-P) Varicolored glasses, the majority set in small gilt medallions with a circular opening for the glass set, with beaded rim and surrounded by slightly downward-sloping connected circular motifs in thin repousse relief; attachment of glass sets is by crossed wires emanating from the backs of the metal mounts; attachment to robes by fourteen small openings surrounding the beaded rims; (H-I) opaque red glass, nearly hemispherical; (J) transparent green glass; shape similar to (A-F,L&N); (K) translucent green glass; nearly hemispherical; (L) transparent green glass; similar to (A-G,J&N); no metal mount; (M) transparent colorless glass; nearly hemispherical; (N) transparent green glass; similar to (A-G,J&L); no metal mount; (O) transparent green glass; nearly hemispherical on a thin disk of colorless, spreading glass; no metal mount; (P) opaque carnelian-red glass; nearly hemispherical; no metal mount.
