Physical DescriptionColorless glass, with pale yellowish green fracture; blown, wheel-cut, ground, polished, and engraved. Fragment: lower part of wall and edge of floor of dish or bowl with curving side. Decorated on outside with sea creatures delineated by polished facets, some of which have engraved details: (when seen from inside) part of circular medallion, defined by one concentric groove, containing, near right edge, parts of (1) fish swimming toward viewer's left and, below it, (2) fish swimming toward right; upper fish (1) has body, pectoral fin, and tail indicated by facets, some of which are engraved, and dorsal and anal fins indicated by rows of parallel cuts; lower fish is represented only by dorsal fin, which is indicated by row of parallel cuts.Provenance
