Physical DescriptionTransparent amethyst and colorless lead glasses; cast in the diatreta technique. Circular flared upper rim tapers to solid dome-shape foot; two opposed curved handles with helmeted female busts attached near upper rim and atop foot; the remainder of the body surface is covered with two opposed diatreta friezes of deer and foliate-type decoration; satin finish; wheel engraved on base: "F. Carder 1950".
