Physical Description"Black" non-lead glass; mold-blown. Rectangular shape; one side embossed with eagle with shield on breast, other side plain with paper label showing a printed color scene of the battle of the Alamo; decorative molding frames each side, one edge has paper label with "AMERICANA / COLLECTION / OF / GREAT / MOMENTS / IN / HISTORY / J. W. Dant's / AMERICANA / KENTUCKY / STRAIGHT BOURBON / WHISKY / EIGHT YEARS OLD / 86 PROOF / 4/5 QUART", base embossed "AMERICANA / THE ALAMO / BY LAWRENCE BUTCHER / J. W. DANT / 1968". Paper label hung around neck explains that this is a limited edition; paper tape which may have gone over stopper says "FOR DISPLAY PURPOSES ONLY - NOT GENUINE". Flattened balls topper has cork stem and eagle on top.
