In a letter to Priscilla Price from Jack D. Ink:
"The tile which you have from me was made for the owner of the Loetz glassworks. . . . I have been told that they were only made for him and that I (and now you with one and Harvey Littleton with one) have the only ones. I found mine- 4 like yours, 1 blue, 1 gold, at the firm here in Vienna which had done all the work for the owner of Loetz at one time. . . . The owner of this glass company had just died so they "gave away" everything so as to sell anything as quickly as possible. . . ."
