Physical DescriptionFragments of Bowl. Translucent purple, with many bubbles; opaque white trails. Blown; trailed, dragged, and marvered. Bowl: fragment of wall. Upper is part almost straight and tapering; lower part curves in and down. Decoration: on upper part, narrow trail, not marvered, wound at least 10 times round circumference; on lower part, trail wound at least 14 times round circumference, with all but top three revolutions dragged diagonally to produce appearance of twisted ribbons or rows of adjoining lozenges.Provenance
