Physical DescriptionDish or Plate. Colorless, lead glass; blown, cut. Shallow circular shape; heavily brilliant-cut on the exterior; pattern with twelve-pointed hobstar in the center, surrounded by twelve plain flutes alternating with twelve pairs of "zipper-like" panels; scalloped rim with twelve smaller hobstars just inside, one to a scallop; rim with twelve alternating groups of rounded and two pointed serrations; Hawkes trademark of trefoil enclosing two hawks and a fleur-de-lis with "HAWKES" below is lightly etched in center of plate.
