Physical DescriptionTwo Decanters with Stoppers. Colorless lead glass; blown, cut, engraved. (a) Flattened, globular body, with long neck; the rim panel-cut, forming a 7-sided polygon; rounded neck ring; series of polished circular facets covering the remainder of the neck; the neck spreading into a rounded ring at the shoulder on the body; engraved decoration covering the body, composed of birds, flowers, leaves, and polished grapes, arranged on an undulating band; polished pontil mark; engraved "19" on the neck. (b) Panel-cut, hexagonal, pear-shaped form, enclosing a large air bubble; with engraved stylized flowers on each face; flat cut top; cut tapered shank; the end of the shank with engraved "19".
