Physical DescriptionColorless and multicolor tinted glasses, blown into wet clay mold. Irregular cylindrical shape; rounded rim; opal tinted interior overlaid with shades of brown, red and amber tinted glass decoration, cased in colorless glass; vessel tapers to solid flat base; signed within polished pontil area "Holmegaard 2371/ [monogram, possibly PL]" in script; rectangular paper label near rim, "[crown] HOLME/GAARD/OF COPENHAGEN/BY APPOINTMENT TO/THE ROYAL DANISH COURT/MADE IN DENMARK/[FLAG]/12" in upper case block letters.
