Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; blown, cut, engraved. Cylindrical shape; engraved foliate border; rectangular panel engraved with a "secret" picture of Napoleon: the branches and trunk of the trees at left forming an opening in the shape of a man, a tomb at the right, under a palm tree, a ship in the distance, the sun setting; inscribed (engraved) "Napolion" below; an engraved floral bouquet on the reverse, inscribed "engraved" "Dein. Glüuck. Strahlt. heiter. wie die Sonne. Und jeder. Tag. bluth. dier. neve. Wonne."
