Physical DescriptionOpalescent white, translucent dark blue non-lead glasses; blown, threaded, spattered, combed; turned metal mounts. (a) Ovoid form, with short, flared neck capped with a pewter mount with threaded cylindrical neck; spiral threads trailed in two bands on the sides, the lower ending in a heavy foot ring; the sides covered with blue spatters; combed slightly; base with slight kick and rough pontil mark. (b) Short, cylindrical cap, with turned rim and incised rings; threaded to fit (a), within.
