Physical DescriptionColorless, transparent dark blue non-lead glass; blown, overlay, engraved, cut. Large conical bowl; band of polished circular facets below the rim; six vertical bands of three similar facets each; engraved continuous scene around the bowl, depicting two men meeting, one holding a sword and leading a horse, in front of an elaborate building; trees and bushes in the remainder of the landscape; sharp bladed knop at the base of the bowl; hollow blue-lined inverted baluster stem; large circular foot with folded rim; rough pontil mark.Provenance
