Physical DescriptionColorless soda glass, blown. (A) Overlaid on exterior with speckles of gold leaf and upward swirling stripes of translucent light blue, bluish-gray, brownish-red and green. Slightly heavy body; narrowing waist, slightly flaring again at the base; ground base is a slightly raised irregularly circular area. (B) Overlaid on the exterior with speckles of gold leaf and upward swirling stripes of translucent blue, dark blue, gray, brownish-red and green glasses. Straight wall, narrowed at waist, flaring again at base; ground base is a slightly irregular circular raised area. (C) Overlaid on exterior with speckles of gold leaf and upward swirling stripes of opaque white and dark glasses. Straight wall; narrowed waist; base grinding left a slightly raised circular area. (D) Overlaid on exterior with fine speckles of gold leaf and upward swirling stripes of opaque light blue, red, red-brown and dark green glasses. Straight wall; waist tapers to a rounding-in base which is ground level in a circular raised area.Provenance
