Physical DescriptionTransparent blue non-lead glass; blown ("half-post" method), pattern-molded; turned metal mounts. (a) Rectangular form with cut corners; tall, flat faces; the second gather ending just below a short neck with flared rim; turned pewter collar with threaded cylindrical sleeve; the sides patterned with vertical ribbing (17 ribs); flat base with rough pontil mark. (b) Short, cylindrical form, with incised concentric circles on the flat top; rounded rim; threaded inside to fit the threaded sleeve on (a).
