Physical DescriptionTan, linen fabric, wood, leather; woven and sewn; carved. Hat: multiple layers of sewn, woven linen; soft hat with separate circular crown, pleated sides, flared, seamed brim. Smock: multiple layers of sewn, woven linen; open from the neck to the waist, with collar and integral strips for tying at the front; seamed on the shoulders, with separate sleeves; slit openings on sides at the bottom. Mittens: multiple layers of sewn, woven linen; formed to cover four fingers, with separate seamed thumbs. Clogs: carved from single pieces of wood, rounded forms with upturned, curved toes, rounded heels; leather straps across the insteps. Foot coverings: gray fabric, with elastic strips around the openings.
