Physical DescriptionBeaker. Colorless, with yellowish green tinge, bubbly. Blown; gilded, enameled. Beaker. Rim, rounded by reheating, flares sharply from narrow, almost cylindrical body with thickened, tooled base. Central register is outlined with thin opaque red enamel lines and divided in half by almond-shaped blazon with endless knot motif at top and bottom, on deep blue ground; opaque white Kufic inscription is bordered above and below by series of small, raised relief dots in opaque white enamel; almond design is outlined with opaque white dots, and endless knot motifs are highlighted with small, raised relief blue dots; thickened tooled base retains pontil mark and large chip, perhaps from breaking it away from rod.Provenance
