Interpretive Notes
The bowl was found during excavations directed by Prof. George T. Scanlon at Fustat (Old Cairo) between 1964 and 1980.
Physical DescriptionBowl. Transparent pale bluish green; some bubbles up to 0.3 cm long. Blown. Bowl: cylindrical. Rim plain, with external bevel; wall (Th. 0.15–0.2 cm) vertical, but with slightly convex profile; base flat at edge.
