Physical DescriptionTransparent pale green, with small bubbles. Blown and applied. a) Pitcher with biconical body. Mouth shaped like funnel, with rounded lip; neck expands and merges with body, which has greatest diameter below mid-point; base has splayed tubular foot ring made by folding; pontil mark annular (D. 1.6 cm). Decorated with two continuous horizontal trails, just below lip and on neck. Handle with ribbed, roughly circular cross section dropped onto upper wall, drawn out, up, and in, and attached to rim, with splayed arms and vertical thumb-piece. b) Dish: rim flares, with rounded lip made by folding; wall tapers slightly, then curves sharply in; floor almost flat, with slightly thickened dome at center; tubular foot ring made by folding; pontil mark (D. 1.0 cm).
