Physical DescriptionClear blue glass; blown, tooled, with yellow-orange luster decoration. The ewer has a globular pear-shape and a low foot and a long flaring neck. A curved handle is attached at the shoulder and the rim, topped with a tall, spherical thumb rest. Applied spiral thread decoration around the upper neck. Decorated with mottled, somewhat irregular and stylized rosette/vegetal patterns, in both yellow-orange and red luster stains. Virtually the entire surface is covered, with only small areas of clear blue glass "peeking" through. Pontil mark on base.
