Physical DescriptionTransparent light yellowish green, with many bubbles and some dark inclusions; blown, applied. Cup: shallow and cylindrical; lopsided. Rim plain, with rounded lip; wall vertical, curving in at bottom; base flat, intended to rest on blob of glass dropped onto center and drawn out as five radiating strips that project downward at their ends and serve as “feet,” although, given irregularity of vessel, only three are functional. Pontil was attached to blob, leaving annular mark (D. 0.9 cm). Single oval-section handle dropped onto end of one “foot” and drawn up, out, and in, and attached to top of wall, with excess glass pulled down to one side, and two crimps at bottom and one crimp at top, making miniature finger-rest.
