Physical DescriptionFragment of Ribbed Bowl. Translucent amethyst matrix with opaque white bands, dull surface with some iridescent film. Mosaic glass technique, mold-pressed, and tooled. The fragment preserves rounded rim flared out from a deep ribbed body. Marbled pattern appears to be group of large rectangular assemblages placed side by side; extensive tooling on exterior in the zone above the ribs and below the flared rim.Provenance
