Physical DescriptionColorless lead glass; blown, pattern-molded, engraved, etched. Large, globular bowl, with etched male portrait in a frame with polished circles; inscribed (etched) "H.M.KING EDWARD VIII" below; etched Royal crown on the reverse, inscribed (etched) "CROWNED / MAY 12TH 1937" below; polished sprays of roses, shamrocks, thistles, and oak framing the portrait; hollow, spirally ribbed true baluster stem, with disk at top and bottom; disk foot; etched mark on the bottom (script) "Webb", encircled by (block letters) "MADE IN / ENGLAND"; no pontil mark.
