Physical DescriptionColorless lead glass; cast and blown, cut, polished. (A) Hexahedral with rectangular (vertical) and square (horizontal) cross sections; (B) hexahedral with rectangular cross section. (A&B) Rounded rim; off center hole into hollow space at top formed by blown bubble; bubble descends more than one-third down into cast form; pattern of intersecting lines cut into base forms grids overlapped by diagonals and a repetitive motif of asterisk (*) shapes within the grids; paper labels on lower corner of each "CRYSTAL/HOYA/MADE IN JAPAN 304" and "LEAD CRYSTAL/OVER 24% PbO", but no signature on object; beveled edges.
