Physical DescriptionAmber non-lead glass; blown. Bulbous body, cylindrical neck; flared foot, probably with trailed rim; applied loop handle, crimped and curled at the lower terminal; hinged flat pewter cover attached at the top of the handle; engraved on the top of the cover "L.R/E.R./1738" and stylized flowering plant; shell-shaped thumb-latch; pewter rim on foot; rough pontil mark; rectangular white gummed paper label inscribed "177" in ball point affixed on the bottom.Provenance
