Physical DescriptionColorless lead glass; blown, engraved. Round funnel shape bowl; engraved scene of a man and a woman, holding hands, being led to the altar of love (with two burning hearts on top) by Cupid, tended by an angel holding a torch, in an elaborate scrollwork cartouche, inscribed above "'T GOED SUCCES - VAN 'T HUYWELYK."; stem composed of an angular knop above a teared inverted baluster and basal ball knop; conical foot with rough pontil mark; inscribed "1187." in white paint on the pontil mark.Provenance
