Physical DescriptionColorless lead glass; blown and engraved. Straight-sided, tapered, bucket bowl, with engraved frame of repeated disks between horizontal lines, enclosing a depiction of a bridge with stone abutments, a ship sailing beneath it, and inscribed "SUNDERLAND BRIDGE" below; inscribed (script) "Jane.Morris/ Wollsoken" on the reverse, framed by floral sprays tied with a bow; disk above a stem with bladed central knop, flared at top and bottom; disk foot with polished pontil mark.Provenance
