Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; blown, engraved. (a) Cup-shaped bowl with spiked gadrooning on lower part; engraved band of large stylized flowers on bowl with a round-sided panel at front containing two birds and a flowering plant; stem composed of two mereses, a baluster, two mereses, and a column; folded foot; rough pontil mark; printed sticker for the Glasgow Art Galleries and Museums exhibition on base; (b) cup-shaped bowl with spiked gadrooning on lower part, engraved band of stylized flowers around middle; attached to a domed cover by means of a stem formed of numerous mereses and flattened disks; spiked gadrooning on top of cover; engraved band of stylized leaves below; rough pontil mark; (c) small, dome shape cover with triple ball-knop finial; rough pontil mark.
