Physical DescriptionWineglass. Colorless, translucent blue. Blown; applied, tooled, diamond-point engraved. Shallow hemispherical bowl with fire-polished rim; joined by glue-bit to blown stem with disk and conical knop; two ear-shaped handles of translucent blue glass; attached by capstan to shallow, blown foot with fire-polished rim and pontil mark. Bowl is diamond point engraved with bird atop branch with foliage, with similar branches at either side; on reverse, similar branches with elaborate flower at center; on handles, trailed colorless decoration pincered into series of waffle patterned pads; foot is diamond-point engraved with stylized foliage and flowers.Provenance
