Physical DescriptionColorless, transparent red, and gold-flecked non-lead glass; blown, cut, engraved. Conical, panel-cut bowl with engraved male portrait, facing right, wearing a tricorn hat, inscribed "Vivat es lebe der Konig von Preussen", in a beaded oval panel; elaborately engraved scrolled frame with baldachin, swags of flowers, fruit and leaves filling the reverse; oval facets at the base of the bowl, two disks above a faceted inverted baluster stem enclosing spiral red and gold-flecked red threads; spreading base; disk foot with engraved foliate scrolls; rough pontil mark.Provenance
