Physical DescriptionColorless and transparent dark red glasses; blown, engraved. Tall, tapered, straight-sided bowl with rounded base, formed of two bubbles, one atop the other; engraved foliate scrolls and birds cover both bowls; stem composed of two mereses above a flattened ball knop, an inverted baluster containing multiple spirally-twisted red threads, swelling to a disk, above a capstan; circular foot with engraved foliate wreath on the upper side; rough pontil mark.Provenance
