Physical DescriptionColorless glass with yellowish-green, yellowish-brown and purple overlays; blown; colorless gather overlaid with yellowish-green, yellowish-brown and purpled, gold foiled, and colorless; inflated to full size; transferred to pontil; rim tooled and finished at glory hole; base ground and polished. Bowl with plain rounded rim and trefoil mouth made by tooling; wall bulges outward and then curves in to bottom; plain base with ground and polished depression at center and ground and polished ring at edge. Interior appears irregular yellowish-green, darker at bottom; outside is rich deep purple toward bottom and under base, and yellowish-brown mottled with purple from about mid-point to rim; on lower part of wall, three patches of gold foil which appear orange to red; signature at bottom of wall, presumably acid-etched: "DAUM" Cross of Lorraine "NANCY".Provenance
