Interpretive Notes
Burmese glass was patented by Mt. Washington in 1885. Exotic names and colors were a specialty of that company.
Physical DescriptionOpaque pink shading to yellow [Burmese] non-lead (?) glass; mold-blown, tooled, enameled. Globular shape with acid-finished "satin" surface; fluted top rim with row of white enamel dots at edge; pink at top shading to yellow at base; enameled flowers over diamond quilted pattern on body; four applied feet which are glossy, not satin and are outlined in red enamel; applied berry prunts on base.
