Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass overlaid with shades of transparent pink, green and white; blown, flameworked, tooled applications. Ovoid body with wide foot and tubular neck, irregular, asymmetrical; fire-polished colorless lip is visually joined to the tubular, slightly bulbous neck by eight raised vertical trails of transparent white striated with pink which becomes a solid overlay covering rest of neck and part of sharply tapering shoulder; approximate center of neck has a solid horizontal band of opaque red; broadest point of shoulder has a raised trail of crimped transparent pale green; same coloration extends partially into inward tapering body but is soon overlaid with "marbleized" striated pink which extends to narrow base; wide foot is comprised of colorless coiled in a spiral whose outside edge has been slightly flattened; base has a large "J" trailed in reddish glass.Provenance
