Physical DescriptionColorless, transparent red, blue, green and translucent white, lead glasses; blown, carved, acid etched. Ovoid shape, in the shape of a melon, with arched handle in the shape of a series of overlapping oak leaves; melon faintly ribbed, with acid-etched random pattern of veins; applied pads of color, emphasized with carving to represent branches, leaves, fruit, and flowers standing in relief on the sides; carved squirrel standing on the rim and projecting above it; rectangular yellowed gummed paper label on the flattened bottom, printed "88" in black.
