Physical DescriptionPreserving Jar with Lid. Greenish aquamarine non-lead glass; mold-blown, automatic machinery, pressed. (a) Cylindrical shape with rounded shoulders; smooth lip with flange below; mold seams on each side from lip to base; wire bail twisted around neck below second flange; obverse embossed: "Ball" in script above "SURE SEAL"; base embossed: "6" (backwards). (b) Domed lid with three concentric circles around lug for bail.
