Physical DescriptionIridescent opaque white and aubergine glasses with gold inclusions; cased, tooled, blown, fumed with gold inclusions. Bowl in shell form with attached crab; iridescent thickly blown bowl with down-turned flared lip tooled into form of a shell and attached life-sized crab modeled in full relief; bowl is opaque white with interior edge of graduated aubergine and overall light covering of powdered gold inclusions; outside is cased in colorless glass with gold inclusions; attached crab comprised of blown and tooled body of white and aubergine with concentrated gold inclusions cased in clear with applied tooled legs of translucent aubergine with gold inclusions; feature details of colorless glass with gold inclusions; base is ground flat.
