Physical DescriptionPreserving Jar. Bluish-aqua, opal non-lead glasses; mold-blown with automatic machinery. Cylindrical shape with smooth lip, molded screw threads on neck, embossed: "MASON'S/PATENT/NOV 30TH/1858", base plain; red rubber ring sealer; zinc cap with illegible patent date on top, opalescent glass liner with: "CONSOLIDATED FRUIT JAR CO/NEW YORK" around a CFJC monogram in center.
