Physical DescriptionColorless, opaque white, transparent blue lead glass; blown, overlay. (a) Spherical body; tall, slightly tapered neck with flat rim; ground for a stopper; the neck and upper third of the body covered with dark blue and lavender-blue overlays, on opaque white, in two bands; colorless disk foot; rough pontil mark. (b) Hollow, spherical top; waisted neck; tapered, rough-ground shank; lavender-blue on the top half, dark blue on the lower half of the ball and on the stem and shank, on opaque white; rough scar at the end of the shank.
