Physical DescriptionTransparent, probably almost colorless, with bubbles. Blown, applied, acid-etched, and iridized. Beaker, somewhat lopsided. Rim outsplayed, with rounded lip; wall descends almost vertically, then curves down and in at bottom; foot conical, with prominent tubular edge made by folding; pontil mark. Wall has continuous horizontal trail just above mid-point. Wall also has two horizontal bands of acid-etched ornament, above and below trail. Upper band has two opposed areas of interlace, which is angular with rounded ends and approximately 2.5 cm square, alternating with two pairs of fish, which swim upward facing one another; lower band has continuous, roughly horizontal line, from which hand 10 curvilinear quatrefoils. Color of glass obscured by iridized surface, which is patchy and varies in color from yellowish brown to purple.Provenance
