Physical DescriptionColorless lead glass; sulphide incrustation, cut and polished. Circular form, with convex top surface, flat bottom, both cut and polished; enclosing a molded white sulphide bust-length portrait of George Washington, facing sinister, wearing his hair tied in a queue; impressed on the back "DESPREZ,/Rue de Recolets/No., a Paris." and "WASHINGTON."; held in a circular stamped and gilt metal frame, in a square, black-painted wood frame, with circular opening formed by a concave turned molding; stamped "35" on the back; modern U-shaped metal hanger.
