Physical DescriptionPunch Bowl. Colorless non-lead glass; blown, cut. (a) Punch bowl: ovoid shape; cut rounded notch in the rim for the handle of a ladle; polished groove around the rim; sides ground, with a band of circular facets below the rim, and a band of relief-cut leaves below, each with polished groove in the center; flat, ground base with cut and polished star in the center; (b) plate: circular shape with rounded, down-turned rim; edge cut in a series of petals; rounded edge decorated with a series of relief-cut leaves, each with a polished, cut groove in the center; two concentric cut grooves below the leaves; rounded booge; flat bottom with matte surface and cut and polished star on the underside; (c) pitcher: waisted neck, flared spout, with undulating rim; cut panels below the spout; sides ground, with polished oval facets below the rim, relief-cut petals below, petals with polished grooves in the centers; rounded base rim with inset disk-like projection below; cut star on the bottom; large applied loop handle on the side, lower terminal cut flat.Provenance
