Physical DescriptionColorless, with transparent red, blue and amber non-lead glasses, polychrome enameling; blown with colored trailing, fired enamel painting. Tall ovoid vessel with straight, collared neck; where neck joins slight shoulder three broad, irregular wraps of red, blue, amber; straight-walled body tapers slightly towards base and is decorated in lower half with the same three wraps which have been marvered into the glass; body is decorated on one side with enamel painting in the manner of an American Indian hide painting--design includes a wide fringed diamond enclosing stylized images of a large red face, a rider with raised arms and wearing a hat on a spotted animal with long curved horns, and a half sun symbol; footless base ground flat, large pontil; inscribed in script on base: "New Small/ Margot T./ EMS 6".
