Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; blown, cut, gold and silver foil, transparent painting. Double-walled glass with tapered, panel-cut sides; decoration between the two layers consists of a continuous scene of a group of five musicians near a balustrade wall topped by a large urn of flowers, painted in transparent colors on silver foil backing; gilded border above and gold leaf band of foliage below; separate circular panel inserted in base, showing a gilded male figure carrying a viola, against transparent red background.Provenance
