Physical DescriptionBarber Bottle. Transparent dark blue non-lead glass; mold-blown, tooled, enameled, gilded. Barber bottle of transparent dark blue glass; cylindrical body with a long straight neck and a small bulbous protrusion in mid-height; sheared lip, which is gilded on the flat edge. The body is painted with a circle of stylized daisies consisting of narrow radiating lines in white opaque enamel and simple dots in pale yellow enamel in the center; near the foot and on the shoulder is a border of flowers, each consisting of a circle of white dots framed by a succession of dotted arches. Tooled foot ring, shallow kick, and a rough circular pontil mark. Gummed label under base "11/pair".Provenance
