Physical DescriptionColorless lead glass, black base, acrylic base/turntable, brushed aluminum component, painted wood, stainless steel; blown, cut, engraved; fabricated metal pendulum. Series of nested components resting on turned wood and metal base/turntable; two large nested domes, smaller of which is engraved on interior and exterior with stylized planets and stars; top of each dome cut into a circular opening with beveled edge; metal pendulum with movable metal concentric ring and ball top, thin metal rod passes from top through ovoid crystal weight with broad concave encircling center cut, pendulum hangs through dome openings and can be set motion in the interior over a shallow dish with rounded base whose interior and exterior cut and engraved stylized astral bodies; dish rests on a small, heavy hemispherical cup with three small metal ball supports for the dish, cup rests in indentation within wooden basin; all rims ground and polished; deep molded stepped base/turntable with stainless steel base; unsigned.Provenance
