Physical DescriptionAurene Vase. Translucent and transparent iridescent gold "Aurene" glass; free blown, with applied decoration; plain spreading and slightly domed folded foot with rough pontil mark, inverted baluster stem supporting a double-merse at base of the bowl consisting of a tulip-like ovoid upper part with wide scalloped rim and a bulbous swelling at bottom; spiral-prunts applied to bottom of bowl and baluster; at base: "AURENE 2707".
