红色玻璃桃式鼻烟壶
Physical DescriptionSnuff Bottle and Stopper. Translucent dark pinkish-amber and opaque mottled light green non-lead glasses, metal, cork, ivory (?); blown, metal wire filigree. (a) Pointed, ovoid form of pinkish-amber, in the shape of a peach; small, circular opening in the top; incised line along one side; three applied ribbed greenish leaves below the opening, two on one side, one on the opposite side; (b) bell-shaped wire filigree cap, in the form of four flared filigree petals alternating with four sheet metal petals outlines with filigree ropework, a small turquoise stone set on top, on a filigree petal-edged cup; a cylindrical cork inside the cap, with brown-tinted ivory spoon stuck in the end, with short, straight shank and rounded scoop, cloth tape wrapped on the shank to make a snug fit in the bottle.
