Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; blown. (a) Cylindrical jar with slightly narrower neck; no collar; rough pontil mark on base. Jar is filled to overflowing with an assortment of miscellaneous objects dating from about 1900 to the present including an ivory piano key, dolls, buttons, theatre tickets, pinecones, keys, scraps of fabric and paper and string. (b) Metal lid is handmade and lined with tin; outer surface is covered with rust but may be tin as well.Provenance
