Note found inside object indicates this saucepan is part of the earliest Visions line, that it was made in the plants at Bagneaux-sur-Loing, France about 1980, and that the glass composition, created by Ken Chyung of Sullivan Park, has a U.S. patent. Note: Corning Glass Works, Saint-Gobain, and Boussois formed Societe SOVIREL at Bagneaux-sur-Loing in 1955.

Physical DescriptionTransparent, reddish brown non-lead glass; glass-ceramic (Pyroceram); pressed; a) hemispherical shaped pan; rim machine finished; two handles, one opposite the other, handles have rounded ends and sides that flare out to rim, "FRANCE" molded into top of one handle, "X" molded into underside of other; body of pan tapered in to bottom; flat circular base; b) circular cover; domed with flat top; sides of dome taper out to flat pressed out rim; two handles, one opposite the other, handles have rounded ends and sides that flare out to rim; "FRANCE" molded into underside of one handle, "L" molded into top of other; rim underside has raised inner edge.
