Physical DescriptionDeep grayish brown Steatite; carved. Amulet in form of lion. Lion, recumbent, facing forward, with prominent head and mane, and tail curled around right haunch, rests on shallow base which is rectangular at front but rounded at back. Base has longitudinal perforation and, on underside, intaglio representation of standing figure.Provenance
